Yesterday I nipped in to the Glasgow Games Workshop store, for my over-priced gaming magazine and to scope out future plastic crack, and while i was watching two kids doing their best to play the fastest game I’ve ever seen, I ended up talking to their grandmother.
I was going to do a number of things today. I had planned to hit the library early doors to get some quiet college work time. But I had promised Ruthy a lie-in and looking after Aurora is not conducive to getting much done.
I’ve got two weeks off work. I’m not going anywhere nice, this was one of those ‘use your holiday time or lose it’ moments, but I have every intention of getting the best out on my time.
Fantasy Flight Games, makers of many fine games (including the Call of Cthulhu Card Game and the Arkham Horror boardgame), have been milking their Games Workshop licence in the years since they got it. And all power to them, their standard of quality across all the games they produce seems to be consistently high.
